Leadership Team

Tom Moore, President/CEO – Tom brings 20 years of energy engineering, project management and business development experience to the team. He has spent the past 15 years developing technologies and building businesses focused on alternative energy. He is the founder and has held senior management positions in three start-up energy service organizations focused on Biogas–to–Energy and Combined Heat and Power; CHP Clean Energy, LLC, BioSpark, LLC and California Power Partners, Inc. His experience ranges from development of large capacity power plants to the development and patenting of new technologies within the biogas-to-energy space.

Gerrit Marks, Sr. Engineer – Gerrit received a Mechanical Engineering degree from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland and has twenty years experience in the power industry. Educated in Europe where the biogas market is more mature than in the U.S., Gerrit has developed an impressive set of technical accomplishments. He has worked for Energy Services International, Solar Turbines Incorporated, Cummins Cal Pacific and Hawthorne Power Systems and is currently leading the BioSpark technical development effort.
